Former Vice President Kamala Harris didn't hold back in her criticism of the Trump administration while delivering an unfiltered assessment of the state of the White House.

On Monday (October 6), Harris appeared at "A Day of Unreasonable Conversation," a one-day event at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, where she described the current administration using a pointed four-syllable curse word.

“There is so much about this moment that is trying to make people feel like they’ve lost their minds, when, in fact," Harris said, "these mothafuckas are crazy."

Harris' unfiltered remark about Trump's "crazy" administration garnered loud cheers and applause from the audience.

During Monday's event, Harris also promoted her new book, "107 Days," which chronicles her historic 2024 campaign. Harris called on the audience, largely made up of creatives and storytellers, to lean into the urgency of the times.

“We are living history right now, and you all as storytellers are living this,” Harris said. “You’re not passive observers, you know that. Give those emotions, give that experience to those people that you are writing about and writing for.”

Harris acknowledged the risks of speaking openly, but emphasized the importance of doing so.

“I don’t envy some of the folks who are here, who are in a situation where you are being subtly or maybe not even so subtly sent signals that now is not the time to speak a certain level of truth with a certain level of candor,” she said. “Every person has to make that decision for themselves, right? But there will always be risk associated with speaking truth.”
