A viral video shows the moment a white Lyft driver kicked a rider out after they made a racist remark, asking the driver if they're a "normal guy" who speaks English.

"You're like a white guy?" the eventually-booted rider asks in dash camera footage shared on Facebook. "You're like a normal guy like you speak English?"

Lyft driver James Bode shared the clip to his social media page, detailing that he had picked the rider and her partner up from a restaurant in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania at 10:37 p.m. on Friday (May 13).

After the remark, Bode tells the rider to "get out of the car" before letting her know that what she said was "completely inappropriate."

"If someone was not white sitting in the front seat, what would be the difference?" Bode asks in the video.

"I'm not going to take the ride, you guys can get out," Bode says next, before the rider, identified as "Jackie," asked Bode if he was serious about her getting out of the car.

The other potential passenger asks "Really?" before unleashing an explicit rant against Bode for his refusal to drive them.

"You guys are racists f––ks," Bode says as Jackie leaves the car.

The other unidentified passenger calls Bode a "n––ger lover" and threatens to punch him in the face before slamming the door shut.

Bode revealed in a Facebook post that he filed a police report "because of the assault threat" the male passenger made.

"If you make me feel uncomfortable, I will absolutely do the same, especially in my car or property," Bode wrote. "Yes, they were made aware that I was recording, yes I have postings in my car indicating such."
